04 - Mexico Bass Fishing
One lucky person will enjoy a 3 or 4 day fishing trip to one of two lakes in Mexico. Winners can choose between Lake El Salto or Lake Picachos. Included are licenses, all meals, lodging, guides, boats (17 or 18 foot Express Bass Boats), motors, fuel, and satellite phones. You will be fishing for bass and it is on a catch and release basis and you can get a replica of one of your whoppers, if desired. Trip is available from the present time until May 2024. You can upgrade to additional days at the rate of $200 per day per angler. Extra anglers are welcomed at a maximum of $2395, depending on the lake and the time. NOT included is airfare to Mazatlan, tackle, (rods are furnished), transportation from the airport to the lodge at $75 to $110 per person depending on which lake is chosen. Combination trips with shuttles to different lakes are an extra charge.

11A - Bass Fishing With University of Montevallo Outdoor Scholars
The University of Montevallo Outdoor Scholars Program is offering a 1 day guided bass fishing trip for 2 anglers. Montevallo won the collegiate bass fishing championship two years in a row in 2021 & 2022. Tommy Loper, bass fishing team member and one of the presenters at our January chapter meeting, will be your guide on Lay lake, Smith Lake or Lake Guntersville. This is your chance to bid on a fabulous bass fishing trip here in Alabama. Trip must taken in 2023.

Alabama Crappie Fishing
Mike Howard of Howard’s Guide Service is offering this full day of crappie fishing for two persons. The fishing will take place at Logan Martin Lake in Riverside, Alabama or Lake Wedowee near Heflin, Alabama. Crappie fishing is at its best in late February and all of March. You will experience crappie fishing with the former U.S. Crappie National Champion and 5 times runner-up. All you will need is an Alabama Fishing License, drinks and snacks. Mike furnishes life preservers, fishing tackle and bait, but the filleting is up to you. The boat will accommodate up to four persons, so if another person would like to join in the fun it will only cost $100 to add that person. Coordinate with Mike on a meeting place and date. This trip will be taken in 2024.

for Rainbow Trout below Lewis Smith Dam on the Sipsey Fork of the Warrior River
(Alabama’s only year round trout fishery) just North of Birmingham. Included is
all gear that is required such as waders, boots, fly rods, fly’s etc. This
unique fishery is made available due to the river being fed by cold water from
the depths of Lewis Smith Lake. Our guides can take you from never having held
a fly rod to making “fishable” casts in a very short time. Must have an Alabama
Fishing License.
