01 - Alabama Quail Hunt for 2

Wilson Outdoor Adventures has donated a quail hunt for TWO hunters at Dennis Lake Wing Club. The lodge is about 5 minutes off I-65 at the Stockton exit going toward Fairhope. The hunters will arrive after lunch for an afternoon hunt, dinner will be cooked for them (probably the quail they shot), spend the night at the lodge, have breakfast the following morning, hunt again, and depart before lunch. You will hunt over Chapter member Roger Avery's Britanny spaniels. The lodge is very nice and the hunters will have separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom between them. Each hunter will have the opportunity to take up to 12 quail on each hunt and can go over that number at an additional cost of $7.50 per bird. The quail will be cleaned and packaged for your trip home.

02 - Dove, Pigeon and Fishing in Argentina

Here is your opportunity to take advantage of several different adventures in one. The donation included two full days of unlimited high volume dove shooting, one full day of pigeon hunting and one full day of fishing for three hunters. Included are all meals and accommodations, full staff service, open bar with local wines and liquor, English speaking host, guides, drivers and bird boys. Not included are flights to and from Cordoba, Argentina, hunting license $425 per hunter, gun rental $280 per hunter, airport transfers $150 per hunter, between area transfers $150 per hunter, fishing gear and bait $150 per hunter, shells 100 boxes $1600 per hunter, tips for birdboys $50 per day, staff $50 per day, and English translator service $50 per day. Additional hunters can be added for $4755 per hunter and non-hunters for $1900 per person.

03 - Hunt The Eastern Cape of South Africa with Mankazana Safaris

You are bidding on the following donation: 10 full days hunting, 1 x 1, for ONE hunter, including $1700 trophy fee credit to be used toward animals taken. A second hunter can be added for a discounted price of $3000. All animals taken during the hunt will be at current trophy fee prices. If hunter fails to shoot the donated trophy fee credit, there will be no refund given to the hunter.

This package includes: Services of a licensed professional hunter (guide), hunting vehicle, support team, pick-up and drop-off at Port Elizabeth Airport, accommodations, meals, soft drinks, liquor, local beer and wines in reasonable quantities, daily laundry service, field preparation of trophies and delivery of trophies to a local taxidermist or shipping agent, and value added tax on the donation. Arrival and departure days are FREE.

This package does not include: Any air travel, pre and post safari accommodations and meals, trophy fees for animals taken in addition to the donated animals or animals wounded or lost, hire of rifles and ammunition, gratuities to PH and camp staff, preparation, packing, documentation, taxidermy, export of trophies form South Africa, and all items of a personal nature.

The Safari must be taken during the 2024 or 2025 hunting season. We hunt March to the end of September. To reserve preferred dates, the winning bidder MUST contact John Gunnels (see below) within 60 days after the closing of the auction. Failure to do so may result in their having to accept whatever dates are available. A $1000 non-refundable deposit per hunter is required to lock in your dates. The deposit will be applied to your hunt. All trophies in taken in addition to donation will be at current trophy fee list.

04 - Mexico Bass Fishing

One lucky person will enjoy a 3 or 4 day fishing trip to one of two lakes in Mexico. Winners can choose between Lake El Salto or Lake Picachos. Included are licenses, all meals, lodging, guides, boats (17 or 18 foot Express Bass Boats), motors, fuel, and satellite phones. You will be fishing for bass and it is on a catch and release basis and you can get a replica of one of your whoppers, if desired. Trip is available from the present time until May 2024. You can upgrade to additional days at the rate of $200 per day per angler. Extra anglers are welcomed at a maximum of $2395, depending on the lake and the time. NOT included is airfare to Mazatlan, tackle, (rods are furnished), transportation from the airport to the lodge at $75 to $110 per person depending on which lake is chosen. 06 - Kalahari Safari For Two Hunters

Stirling Safaris has donated an 8-day safari for two hunters and two observers in the Kalahari region of South Africa’s Northwest Province. Hunt is available for the 2023 or the 2024 season. Six animals to be split between the two hunters are included in this donation (1 springbok, 1 impala, 1 blesbuck, 1 warthog, 1 blue wildebeest, and 1 black wildebeest).

Also included in the donation: 6 days hunting, 2 days travelling, accommodations at Stirling, PH 2x1, trackers, skinners, meals and beverages, laundry service, government license fee, trophy skinning/salting, transport of trophies to Moredou Taxidermy.

Excluded: arrival night accommodations in Johannesburg (Afton House or Africa Sky Lodge), transfer fee to and from Johannesburg, extra game taken, rifle rental, gratuities.

Owner Roland Mahne hosted five different safaris in 2022 that included Alabama SCI members. Among the dozens of trophies taken by these hunters were a 49 inch buffalo, a 48 inch sable, a 40 1/2 inch gemsbok bull, 25 1/2 inch impala, an 18 inch blesbuck, a 6 inch duiker, a 15 1/2 springbok, a 32 inch blue wildebeest, a 17 inch tsessebe, a 55 inch kudu, a 30 inch nyala, and a huge lion. 07 - Roe Deer Hunt in Serbia

This hunt is for 2 hunters or 1 hunter and 1 observer for 6 nights, 3 hunting days, 2 tourism days, with 1 representative roe deer up to 350 grams. Season is April 15 to September 30. You can upgrade to roe deer up to gold medal $1,500, package of 5 roe deer up to gold medal is $5,000. Many other species are available as per price list. Includes assistance for settlement of customs formalities at Belgrade airport on arrival and departure, use of 4x4 vehicle during the stay (2 hunters with one vehicle), lodging and full board in 3-4 star hotels or hunting lodges, assistance of professional hunter and local game keepers, plus field preparation of trophies.

NOT INCLUDED: Airfare tickets, rent a rifle with ammo $150 for hunt, VAT 20% (be added on donation value and total bill), Serbian hunting license $140, official measurement $35 per trophy, cape $100, single 4x4 vehicle for hunt $200 per day, packing, export documentation and sending of trophies, tips, drinks and gratuities.

08 - Leopard Hunt in Zimbabwe

We have a rifle hunt for one hunter to hunt the 1.7 million acre Beitbridge East Campfire Area and surrounding properties in Zimbabwe for a leopard. The outfitter is donating 50% of the total daily rate ($19,600 X 50%)  $9,800 for 14 days plus $1,000 credit towards the leopard trophy fee of $7,500. The hunting season will be April - December of 2023. Additional animals may be taken for the current trophy fees. An extra hunter may be added for a discounted daily rate of $14,950 and a non-hunter for $300 per day. All accommodations and meals are furnished.

Not included is the required CITES permit for $200, weapons permit of $150 or rifle rental of $50/day plus ammunition, airport transfers to and from Bulawayo at $800, game scout at $100/day, VAT of $15/person/day, Government fees of 2% on daily rates and 4% on trophy fees, and a $200 banking fee. Dogs may be used to hunt the leopard at an extra cost of $6,000. Upon arrival, you will need to overnight in Johannesburg at $175.

09 - Spring Roe Deer Hunt (SCOTLAND)

This 7-day package is for one hunter to take two Roe Deer on some of the most famous estates in Scotland. The hunting season will be in June of 2023 or 2024. The donation allows the successful bidder to bring additional hunters at a $1000 discount. The donated package includes all airport transfers, meals, lodging at the luxurious Loch Kinnord Hotel, guides, and the harvesting of two bucks. If interested, the successful bidder and guests may have the opportunity to play a round of golf and or ride horses, as extras to this great package. Guided tours for hunters and non-hunters are all part of the package as well. The package begins with the guests’ departure on day one, arrival in Scotland on day two, transfers to the hunting area on day three, hunting and other activities on days four, five and six, with the return flight home on day seven. (Hunters may extend their stay in Europe at their own expense if they wish.) The hunt may be taken from the middle of May to early July in 2023 subject to availability or a future year as agreed upon. Non-hunter packages that include full roundtrip airfare, transfers, meals, lodging, and private escorted tours are offered at just $2,950.
